The VideoGame.Net Summer Camp is a series of two-week interactive programs designed to help kids learn about the videogame industry using the tools needed to develop videogames. While at camp kids will focus on learning about the technology, math, science and the arts used in the development of video games.
OVERVIEW
Offered for 6 years our summer camp has had thousands of students participate in our programs. Started at Penn State University: Great Valley, in 2003, the camp is also offered at a number of additional locations throughout the PA, NJ and DE region.
- For students and gamers entering 6th through 12th grades
- Kids design their own videogames in a fun, interactive, and supportive university environment
- Instruction provided in animation, Web design, storyboarding, and character development techniques
- Play games at the VideoGame.Net Arcade
- Compete in weekly game tournaments
