The Philadelphia Free Library has created programs for the more then 80 thousand kids and teens who come to the Library for after school programs. A lot of the time the Library is the only safe haven for them. When they come to the libraries they are surrounded by great people and great books. And if they can attract more kids and teens to the libraries by use of video games then these children will have a greater chance of learning and a greater chance to improve their literacy while staying out of trouble.
