Yea, I just came back from Saturday's events. I would say anything but a blast.

Where were the free play rooms??? I was told after asking every staff member they don't know, that they were canceled or a misprint. Yea, that was only half the reason to be there....

Without open gaming, these "10,000" people all crammed into one area, which you can imagine was not any fun.

I hope this convention learns from its mistakes and takes some precautions into consideration in the future.

What a waste...

All I have to say is - WASTE OF MONEY. It's unfortunate to say, but I feel like I could have blew my $25 on something that was actually FUN. After purchasing a weekend pass, I'm really doubting that it was a good choice. Seems like all of the main parts of the convention was canceled, and none of the staff knew what was going on. One looked at the event schedule and said that it must've been a "typo". A "typo"?? MISPELLING is a typo... not this. Also we were told that Postal was not going to be showed because the projector was broken... who does not have backup for an event that is to hold over 100 people, let alone 10,000? Not that my venting is going to get me ANYTHING, however it does make me feel better to state how much poor planning went into what was suppose to be a huge, fun event. It just shows me to test the waters to a new convention before I decide to buy an entire weekend pass.
