VGXPO VOLUNTEERS

America's Video Game Expo is returning to the PA Convention Center this October, and we need your help! Last year we had 350 volunteers and we need even more in 2009!

Are you interested? Here are the details:

Minimum commitment: 10 hours
Minimum age: 16 (under 18 need parental permission)

All Volunteers get:

• Access to the volunteers lounge (snacks and goodies)
• A full access pass to all VGXPO events (excluding Video Games Live)
• Behind-the-scenes access to the Expo

We need many different types of volunteers. Here are just of few of the jobs we need staffed for this year's VGXPO:

At VGXPO

• Game Competitions Refs
• RetroCon and Anime FestHelp
• Blog Team - Writers and Photography Team
• Meeting Room Door Security
• Meeting / Function Planners (work in meeting rooms - help run events)

Pre VGXPO

• Street Team (go to events hand out flyers - distribute to stores)
• Web Content Producers (Bloggers)
• Web Developers
• Art Team - Posters, Flyers, Program Guide Production and More
• Event Readiness - Making VGXPO Bag Kits, Getting Everything Tested, Packing for Event and Everything Else that Goes Into Getting Ready For VGXPO

Post VGXPO

• Small team to work with us at Big Apple Comic Con in NYC
• Unload and place exhibits into storage - Philly and Baltimore
